searching for treasure

Is there a difference in the amount of gold/royal credits a player receives based on their character class when searching for treasure? I have tried three different classes, and the first two I never got less then 15 credits or so, now I almost always get 15 or less...I am assuming that it is random, but I was just wondering, because if it isn't I might have to change back :p

Witter, could you give the character classes you are referring to? I know it may not make a big difference but just for reference sake.

The character class does not factor in at all.
