Hi,

Right now when another player attacked you and you won, you only get the message:
"You were attacked by xxx and won! You took xxx in damage, while dealing xxx."

I would love to see an aditional line in this message that says:
"You gained xxx gold and xxx experience for winning this battle."

Thanks

So far that im concerned dont you actually get any exp or gold by being attacked, which definetely isnt how it ought to be.

I vote for getting exp and gold for winning on being attacked!

the problem with gaining exp from being attacked is that it is fairly simple for someone to get a "JR" account and attack the main so they can get much more experiance. as for the gold, i think it is a good idea and it would promote less bullying for money when the bully could lose his own

If the bully banked his/her gold, none would be lost, though. The Jr. accounts would be an issue like you said. Imagine someone creating tons of accounts and just hitting their main account. It is something we're considering for a solution, though.

Well, let's brainstorm about a possible solution...

As for the gold, if the bully banks it so be it. You yourself can bank the money too... At least there is a chance.
But it's not the gold that is the problem, the real problem is the exp.

As a start, how about only accounts to be at least a certain level before you could gain exp.
I'm thinking about something like at least level 20.

Second, the exp can only be gained if the attacking player is at least 150 levels below you (cfr like the bosses you can attack yourself). If the attacking players level is lower than 150, you gain 0 exp.

Third, to calculate the amount of exp besides the level of the attacker could be their age (creation date of the account).
For example: less than 15 days = exp / 4, between 16 and 30 days = exp / 2, more than a month = exp
This would avoid getting lots of exp from any young members.

Anyone have other ideas?
