Curious to know if anyone else has noticed that the server has been less responsive since the last outage? I've had 3 bad luck runs in a row...

We have had other reports of the same. However, feel free to report back how it performs now that the cache rebuild has completed (following the rest of the tweaks). That was completed as of a few hours ago.

Better tonight... but I'm going to give it a few more tries before I'm sure. :) Thanks!

It seems better at times, but it has gone away completely several times since the last upgrade. Not happy!

Interesting. So the changes to the firewall affect using F5, which to most is "normal browser usage"?

With F5, I don't believe you can do hundreds of connections per second. That is, the browser would limit it. Only a script or bot can do that much.

F5 is DEFINITELY slower than it was before the maintenance. Seems like something affected it.

Before the firewall changes? It was not related at all...

Very odd coincidence.

Another server upgrade, another degradation in performance. Every single time. Admin, can you let us know when you expect things to be "normal" again?

Players are getting booted constantly, and the lags are horrendous. Do you anticipate this getting fixed any time soon?

It is a problem with the actual server hardware setup. We have 4 dedicated servers in a private network with the provider, and something is wrong with the setup that is degrading performance. We're waiting to hear back from them. We should know more tomorrow. Obviously the change that was made yesterday did not solve the issue as we had hoped. The team that is working on it was not in the office today.

Thanks for the update.

Whatever is broken is very broken. It took 20-30 seconds to login into the forum.

Some kind of load balancer? Let me guess, "we didn't change anything"?

It seems to be running better today. Thanks, Admin!

I spoke too soon. It's back to the lags...

THANK YOU! :D I got a couple of server errors, but for the most part, today's run was spectacular. Thank you so much for all of your efforts.

The server has been and still is, running great as of the past few weeks. Thank you!
