NOw a third quest is available also, which requires only one note. Made specially for low level players. Utilize it guys.

When you trade in 1 note, you get emblem of the firebird, mask of courage, and mask of solitude. Stats on the mask of solitude are:

2000 eq def
750 max energy
2500 max hp
2 energy/5min
10 hp/5min

It is really great if you get all that, in just one note. I hope something even better will be given to me when i complete 10 notes quest lol.

Previously this quest was unfair for low level players, but now i think that it will be unfair for high level players. As guys above lvl 500 can get only one item in 10 days and i don't think there is some item 10 times better than this silver mask, so this time quest makers are unfair for higher side. I am happy that lower level guys can get something really good.

But think about it quest lasts for 2 weeks - so i can get only one item as it takes 10 days.

However lower players can get 14 x 1 = 14 silver masks. It means they will get terribly strong. (Only applicable to money spenders. I know non money spenders of game can't get that many but still they could generate 4 or 5 masks easily, so they will get terribly strong as well.)

May it be defense may it be strength i will get only 1 item and that makes this system unfair, lol :)

If the item gets is 10 times better than silver mask, or even 5 times better then too that quest will be appreciated, but if i get same rewards as in 1 note, or even some other cloak, then too it is unfair, 2 or 3 enchanted wrath cloak, can't even match the 8 to 14 silver masks that others will get, :)

However if i get 3 to 5 luck items then i would say this quest fair enough.

You cannot do either one more than once (secondary quest). That is, you can't get 10 masks. Only 1. So, it is certainly fair for both sides.

It probably drops a tad nicer item. Afterall its only fair because it takes a much stronger character to get the 10 notes as opposed to one.

A few other questions and comments on this quest. Is it possible to do both the < 500 lvl quest and 10 note quest? I know very few people posses the skills for it but I'm sure there are some. (I just crested 500 but I would have had a chance to at my lvl 499 stats)

Also will there be any news messages on this? I was expecting to see one to signal the quest and was surprised to notice the evening (I hope) that it came out. My fault for not being observant and it wouldn't do much good now but perhaps for future cases. Also there has been some very good information in this thread and I doubt most algadoners come to forum enough to read it. It would be a tremendous help for then to explain the timetable and how the lower level quest works(doesn't need a spoiler but could help out a few people).

Hi.Just wanted to ask Admin,can this quest that needs only one note be a little bit longer?There is just no way to do it for 2 weeks with non premium char.Even with my 5 eng/5 min i will need more time to do it.So,is there a possibility to be extended ?

I don't think admin will do this, but in certain cases in past they have extended some quests. So if you want your reply then use contact us link in the game, and then he will reply you, if he is doing so or not, then copy paste his reply in the forum as well to let us know, lol :)

some special quest were more easy to complete ... accessible for all kinds of players ... this special quest is more diffcult but the rewards is better that some easy special quest.

Only the December 2010 special quest had good rewards and easy/medium difficulty

Now knowing that the quest duration is only 2 weeks, and one week is already over, I find myself not able to complete the 10 notes quest. I am currently level 564, and got 4 notes so far and only about 15% done with my 5th note.
Is there any chance that these 2 weeks duration time be increased only a few days for us who just passed level 500? If the quest can only be done once, I don't see any harm in extending the time for us who have just passed level 500.

My current regen rate is 52 / 5mins and my max energy is 2075.

No, i don't think so, i spent 25000 x 10 = 250000 Energy just for this, LOL.

And i have a tip for others as well. If you haven't done that quest then it is good. Don't do it till 14th day because as soon as you do this quest you can't do the quest of collecting notes as well.

As admin told above that the remainder of notes could be used later, but if you do 10 notes quest on 10th day, u can't get more notes. so get notes first.

It is hard for me to explain this, lol. Please pm me in game if you don't understand.

This quest is a hose job. It says nowhere i cant do both quest or only collect 10 notes. It only shows i cant have more than 10 at a time. I do the 1 note quest then start the 10 note quest and get 9 notes. Suprise I'm locked from doing it again. This should have been stated somewhere before i wasted all of the time and energy to do this quest 9 times for what will probably be 9 fruit from the tree of life or similiar worthless item. Thanks for being so vauge as to any game rules. Why are you punishing chars. under 500 that have energy and regen to do this quest 11 times? Which would have been fine, but you should state these things not keep the rules a secret. Make this right Admin! :mad::mad::mad:

i think you should be allowed the 10th/11th note. only a select few would be able to do it so he is not really giving a large "unfair advantage" if he sets it right. i had asked the question before on this thread, guess admin should have been the one to answer to clear it up.

again, a simple explainatory news message would go a long way in helping members out with these things

I'm feeling a little ripped off and penalized for being a higher lvl member I can not do the quests again but lower lvls may do both quests kind of unfair:confused:

yes it just seems like it was not well planned and last min decisions r being made and the outcomes r penalizing either the high level players or the low level players throughout the whole special quest not that i dont appreciate the free items i just feel its a little unfair that the low level players r now able to get the same bonus as us higher level players while we were not able to get the strength bonus they got even if it was only a little bit

But i still feel, that most of the people use common sense and just keep doing special quest unless it is gone, but turtok didn't do that, so he has to suffer. (No offence to Turtok, but still suggesting him not to curse anyone just for his own fault.)

Many games are there which offers special quests, but mostly their introduction is told to the gamers, and not the ending date. There should be some surprise factor in such quests.

Well... the point is, I did my math. And I came to the conclusion, that I would not be able to finish the 10 notes in time. So why waste 9 days of energy on collecting 8 Notes?

But if I knew that I had 20 days and not 10, of course I would have done the special quest. But once the extension was announced, I had, again, only 10 days to complete the quest...

Now I spent 6000 credits on energy drinks hoping to complete it. And it just might not work out for I would need 1 more days of extension
