New Potion not allocating Energy

I have purchased an Energy Potion(5) (http://www.algadon.com/items.php?id=474) and upon using it, I was only allocated 300 energy, rather than the 1,000 that is advertised.

I am now out 180 credits. How do I go about getting the proper amount of energy?

At this time, an energy potion restores to your maximum energy level. Therefore, you should not use one that goes beyond your max energy. We'll post a news item if this changes in the future.

Just as an update here, energy potions now go over max energy.
