game changing all white with text only.

So when I try to do quest or attack someone, sometimes the game goes all white and doesn't let me do it. I am not sure if this is a bag or what.

My guess is that since they changed the font in this game from Ruby and Sapphire, they decided to change text colors as well. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason they didn't use it again was that it was poorly received. Personally, I like different colored text for different characters, although I've seen plenty of people complain about it.
