We have community chat already. Officer chat is on the list, but it will be some time since there's a lot on the list ahead of it.
I think what eol7673 is talking about is a community chat for everyone in the game on the opening home page. I think it would really benefit the newest players. They could get some help and see which clan they might be interested in joining.
You could limit it to 3 or 4 pages so there wouldn't be too much extra information to wade through.
Yes! Tananda has a wonderful idea again! Let us have a billboard on the homepage, somewhere just to scrawl, "Ok, finished with my Siafu run; Next"! This would save a lot of time and wondering, as well as an adjunct to the new courteousness. Please consider this Admin! Thank you :)
Also, xat does not function on phones. And the forum is underpopulated compare to a clan discussion style discussion for all.
