Clan joining trouble - app

I've heard of, and even witnessed on one occasion someone trying to use the mobile app by Android to join a clan (send the join code). The times that I'm referring too, it resulted in the app getting a message that had the words "fatal error" and some other short phrases that I forget. When done from a computer, it works fine, but there seems to be some trouble with the mobile app.

Anyone else running into this? I'm kinda clueless when it comes to this level of programming, so I don't know if this is an easy, or tough fix, but I'm sure something will be done when this reaches the top of the to do list.
